Martin Rowley (47) has been the Managing Director of Comec Voice & Data Ltd since its incorporation in 1992.
Having originally gained a telecommunications engineering background at BT Plc, Martin joined Vanderhoff Plc, the manufacturers of Mercury’s Smartbox product, rising rapidly to National Sales Manager with overall responsibility for a reseller network comprising of approximately 80 resellers.
His experience of managing resellers has left Martin with a fundamental knowledge of the various strategies employed by both successful and unsuccessful resellers which has been of significant benefit to Comec Voice & Data in the past.
Having travelled extensively in the United States and Europe, Martin has a wealth of knowledge on the expectations of our US Business Partners and the demands of European end-user organisations. Martin is very well respected within the US Avaya Channel, in particular for his honesty and integrity.
Martin is viewed by all those connected with the business as the visionary with the skill sets required to motivate the senior level of management as well as having a knowledge of all levels of the business.

Trevor Grove (47) gained his initial telecommunications engineering experience during his employment at BT Plc, during which time he developed his skills to a point where he was seconded to a task force installing Dealer Boards within the financial markets in London,. In 1986 Trevor was appointed as Technical Support Manager for Vanderhoff Plc. However, his talents for explaining complex technologies in simplistic terms were quickly recognised and he was promoted to Dealer Sales Manager responsible for the creation of Mercury Communications third party sales channel.
Trevor joined Comec Voice & Data in 1993 as Technical Director. His product experience is fundamental to the company’s ability to provide its clients with innovative and workable solutions to their ever increasing telecommunications requirements.
With his 15 years of experience of working with Avaya products, Trevor is recognised to be one of the best Avaya Technicians in the UK. It is this extensive knowledge that he passes down to all technical team members within Comec.
There have been occasions when Trevor has been asked to visit the USA as a consultant to assist on particularly problematic sites.

Dipen Patel (49), a Chartered Accountant, provides broad financial experience as the company achieves its growth expectations. In addition, Dipen takes on the role of Company Secretary ensuring that the company complies with its statutory obligations.
Dipen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 after obtaining an Economics degree from The London School of Economics.
Having completed his training with a large accountancy practice in London (Hays Allan), he obtained commercial experience as Financial Director of a large motor parts wholesaling business. He was successfully involved in all aspects of the business prior to returning to the profession to utilise his commercial experience for a broader range of organisation.
Dipen has extensive knowledge of the different tax regimes that occur across Europe and is therefore able to provide clear and reliable advice to our Business Partners which ensures the end-users are not left with a tax burden on their asset purchases.
